This Privacy Policy explains how Leng Social ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (the "Service"). By using Leng Social, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, username, email address, and profile photo. If you sign in with Facebook or Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from that provider (with your permission).
Content you create — posts, comments, reels, photos, videos, marketplace listings, messages, and orders.
Transaction data — items bought or sold, order details, and delivery information you provide.
Technical data — device type, browser, IP address, and basic usage activity used to keep the Service secure and working.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
To operate core features — feed, watch, reels, messaging, and the marketplace.
To process and deliver orders between buyers and sellers.
To send service notifications and respond to support requests.
To protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed to run the Service — for example, your public profile and listings are visible to other users, and order details are shared between the buyer and seller involved in a transaction. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Social login (Facebook & Google)

When you choose to sign in with Facebook or Google, we use the information they provide solely to create and access your account. We request only basic profile details and your email address. We do not post to your social accounts on your behalf.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Records we are legally required to keep (such as completed-order and transaction history) may be retained for a limited period even after account deletion, in anonymised form where possible.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure password handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Children's privacy

Leng Social is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

10. Community guidelines & objectionable content

Leng Social hosts user-generated content (posts, reels, videos, comments, listings and direct messages). By using the app you agree to our zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The following are not allowed:

Harassment, bullying, threats or hate speech targeting any person or group
Nudity, sexually explicit material or content that sexualises minors
Graphic violence, incitement to violence, or promotion of self-harm
Spam, scams, fraud or impersonation
Any content that is illegal under applicable law

Reporting and blocking. Every post, reel, comment, message and profile can be reported from within the app using the report (△) control, and any user can be blocked from their profile or a conversation. Reports are confidential — the reported person is not told who filed the report. Blocking a user immediately hides their content from you and prevents them from contacting you.

Our commitment. We review reported content and act on objectionable material and abusive users — typically within 24 hours — by removing the content and/or ejecting the user who posted it. You can also email [email protected] to report content or appeal an action. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Leng Social.
